The Qwix Standard.
Thorough from Core up.
Qwix is one product in three tiers: Core, Next and Flex. Every tier, including Core, is built to the same standard of thoroughness. That standard makes Qwix the most reliable South African option for warehouse and supply chain control.
Homegrown for South African operations
Qwix is developed in South Africa and has been shaped on South African floors for 30+ years.
It is built around the scenarios, challenges and legacy infrastructure that local operations work with every day. That knowledge is part of the product, so organisations can digitise and advance at their own pace, with more detail and control, in a simpler and more accessible way.
Qwix runs in more than 62 warehouses and distribution centres in Southern Africa, across more than 9 industries. Teams in the Western Cape and Gauteng, with 24/7 technical support, keep them running.
Qwix has since expanded to Europe. Its development and most of its clients remain in South Africa.
Legacy you can build on
The oldest South African-developed WMS.
Decades of supply chain experience, built into every release.
Core, Next and Flex
Small business to enterprise. One product, one smooth upgrade path: start small, upgrade smoothly, and never replace Qwix.
Core
One site, one stock owner

Essential warehouse control, from items and bins through receiving, put-away, picking and dispatch, with holds, quarantine and returns.
Next
Tracking or more sites
Quoted to scope
Adds multiple warehouses, sites and stock owners, batch, lot and serial tracking, expiry and FEFO, slotting and kitting.
Flex
For a workflow no option covers
Quoted to scope
Bespoke workflows or extensions on the same Qwix Framework, separately designed, estimated and governed.
Warehouse management is included from Core. Manufacturing execution (MES) and proof of delivery (ePOD) are available on higher tiers.
What the standard means in practice
Thorough at every tier
Core includes scanned control from receiving and put-away through picking, packing and dispatch, with stocktake, cycle counts, holds, quarantine and returns.
Supported, published processes
Qwix implements governed, repeatable processes on the proven Qwix Framework and configures them to your operation.
Works with what you have
Qwix connects to more than 10 ERP systems, including SYSPRO, SAP and Sage X3, through the Qwix Air™ integration engine. Your ERP stays in charge of valuation, purchasing, invoicing and the general ledger.
More detail, simpler to use
The scanner shows each operator the next task and the scan confirms it. Supervisors see the detail on dashboards without extra admin.
Digitise at your pace
Move from manual processes to scanning and automation without breaking integrations, and from Core to Next or Flex without replacing Qwix.
Driven by local operations
Enhancements come from live operational challenges in the operations Qwix runs.

Questions about the Qwix Standard
What is the Qwix Standard?
The Qwix Standard is the level of thoroughness built into every Qwix tier, including Core. Each process is supported, published and controlled by scan, and configured to your operation on the proven Qwix Framework.
Is Core a reduced version of Qwix?
Core is built to the same standard as Next and Flex. It covers full warehouse control for one site and one stock owner, from receiving to dispatch, including holds, quarantine, returns and stock counts. Higher tiers add scope: more sites and stock owners, tracking, further areas of application and bespoke workflows.
Can we move from Core to Next later?
Yes. Core, Next and Flex are one product with one upgrade path. You add scope as the operation grows, without replacing Qwix.
Why does it matter that Qwix is South African?
Qwix is developed in South Africa and has been shaped by South African operations for 30+ years. It is built around the scenarios, challenges and legacy infrastructure local organisations work with, and the people who build and support it understand that context.
Can Qwix work with our existing systems?
Qwix integrates with more than 10 ERP systems, including SYSPRO, SAP, SAP Business One, Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and JD Edwards, through the Qwix Air™ integration engine. Your ERP stays in charge of valuation, purchasing, invoicing and the general ledger. Additional integrations are scoped and quoted separately.
